Thinking about buying a 1992 Oakwood Special Edition on land. 2 bedroom, 1 bath. 14 X 70. I will hire a private inspection. But before paying for a professional investigation, what should I look for in these models? Good, bad and ugly? Problems these homes have?
Thanks!

The two most important things n any real estate purchase are location and condition
A home that is over 20 years old has had the original builders kinks ironed out over that time. I purchase several used homes every year. The brand is almost irrelevant in a home that has been around that long. You want to concentrate on how well it has been maintained.
A home inspection will tell you just about everything you need to know about the condition of the structure, systems, components and exactly what you will need to do to make it close to perfect.

All the issues ironed out after 20 years, makes sense.
