I recently bought a piece of land with a doublewide 2001 MH on it. It is on a block foundation. It is in Delaware. In 2001 there was a placement permit for the home to be placed on the property. The bank forclosed on the property and that was in Jan 2011. I jsut burchased it but the bank does not have a title to the MH and the county states the MH is listed as being on skirting. The county will not let me retire the MH as a Class C on A permanent foundation until I get a title and then they will come out and inspect the foundation to make sure it was done correctly. I paid cash for the whole lot and now I think I am stuck with it and can;t sell it as I do not have a title. Any suggestions. I have a serial number and a make of the MH.

Seems likely that the title has already been retired. In that case ownership transfers with the deed.Your local title office should be able to give you a title history. This should include leinholders and whether the title has been retired..Check with them..You seem to have all the information that will be needed by them..
