Replace wood burning fireplace with electric insert

We have a 2000 Fleetwood Manufactured home. We have a Coleman 36ECM1 wood burning fireplace with blower, but would like to replace it with an electric insert fireplace.
What type would you recommend, and is this a DIY project or one for a professional? Some of the inserts available look easy to install, but measurements are critical. Any recommendation on which brand or model would be best?
We also want to install our flat screen TV above the mantle. What order should these projects be performed, or would it be best to do simultaneously?
Thanks!

Coleman makes electric inserts. Contact them for an electric that will easily replace your wood burner. See their web site at
http://www.colemanfurniture.com/accent- ... places.htm
They offer free delivery and set up !!!
Gas and wood fireplaces require stockpiles of wood or place you at the mercy of the natural gas company for pricing. An electric fireplace is a great alternative.

This string is about heating a home with a wood burning or electric stove.... Your question is about a wood burning engraving tool. Not exactly about manufactured housing but...
I am guessing you are talking about a (non-electric) butane powered wood burning kit. Any brand of butane refill will work. The fill ports are standardized on both the iron and the tank. Contact your local butane dealer.
