I need to replace he drain in my bathtub but I can't access underneath the tub. How do I do this? I have gotten the drain loose but now I am seeing there is a nut that I can't get to - what do I do?

If there is a nut, you will have to go in from underneath the home. Generally there is no nut. The drain is usually screwed into a piece called a tray plug adapter which in turn is glued to the "P" trap and can be unscrewed from in the tub itself.
