Serial Number

I have a 1969 Vindale Manufactured home and would like to know where I would find the serial number for this home. I have looked everywhere and cannot find it. I am filing a new deed and the town requires a serial number. When I purchased it 10 years ago, there was no serial number on the deed that was filed. Help!
