I have termites and I found them on the edge of my carpet against the wall in my bedroom. My home is a 24x52 1990 Redman and its all wood or should I say compressed wood. I want to replace the skirting to vinyl or metal skirting and I'd like to know if termite can get into the vinyl or metal skirting? I'm calling the termite guy so he can start spraying under and around my house.

Termites like wood and wood products like particle board and hardboard siding. Termites have no interest in non-organics like vinyl or metal. They like wood that has moisture in or around it best. Once they get up into a home if they cant find a water source they have to make the march back to the ground daily to find water. So they generally are attracted to wood that has been wet. Sooooo... it is never appropriate to use wood to construct skirting.

You can find several types of skirting products online at The Mobile Home Parts Store

Once the page loads put your mouse arrow on EXTERIOR IMPROVEMENTS on the top menu. This will drop down a sub menu that includes SKIRTING. When you put the mouse on SKIRTING it opens a list of various types they have in stock.
