Hi,
My 2002 Fleetwood home caught fire in april 2009 due to a faulty vent fan in the bathroom. The fire spead up from the fan to the roof via a 3 inch plastic vent hose. This caused the atic to catch fire. The manufacture says its our fault for not doing maintenance on the fan?? and leaving the fan on. Hud will not help.. So in the mean time, I need to repair the roof! numerous trusses were destroyed (about 15)! however, the walls were undamaged! I have been looking everywhere for a manufacture that made trusses for Fleetwood homes. None are listed. I have been told that some of these truss manufactures have the pdf files in their machines to make as many trusses as I need to fix the roof! If this is true, then who are these companies and where are they at? I have the man power, knowledge and tools to fix my home, but not the parts (trusses). can you help me with contact info?? thanks!

Fleetwood has gone bankrupt and its components are being sold off. Most of their manufactured housing business has just been purchased by Cavco Industries, Inc. and an investment partner, Third Avenue Trust Value Fund. I would start by trying to contact the new company to see if they will honor your problem as a warranty claim.

You would have to contact Fleetwood to find out what truss you need as well as the manufacturer of the truss. Universal Forest Products is the largest truss supplier to the manufactured Housing industry.
