buying a manufactured home
We are purchasing a 1980 fleetwood model 3603B. We are just wondering about the construction methods we can't find any info on the extrior wall widths or framing. we are not going to stop the sale we just want to be informed and go into this with eyes wide open. Any info would be great Thanks
Re: buying a manufactured home
Fleetwood had MANY plants nationwide in the 80's. Each plant had different specs. Harder yet there were often many models built in each plant all different specs Some were the BEST in the country ands some the very most basic..You might consider hiring a professional home inspector (which should be done for ANY 29 year old home). They should be able to tell you the particulars of this home, and uncover any nasty surprises that could be waiting. Good Luck
