weak subfloor decking in bathroom

Post by mbt3000 » Sun Oct 19, 2008 6:26 pm

I have a 1996 14x70 I have recently bought. The floor between the vanity and floor register is weak. I think it was kinda that way when I bought it. But I think it's getting worse. It originaly had carpet in both baths. The previous owners took up the carpet and put down 12x12 vinyl stick tiles. As far as I can tell it's only about a 15x15 inch area that is the problem. Can I fix this relatively easy and affordably?

Replacing a small section of floor is not a very difficult job... The best source for you to look at is Floor Repair Info Kit from Aberdeen RepairThis kit includes a 25 minute VHS video about repairing the floor in your bathroom underneath your toilet, and a booklet on floor repair. This is not a high-dollar video with actors that wear makeup and every word smoothly rehearsed, these videos are. However a good-quality that features a real contractor clearly showing you how to do the job
