SEPARATING AND ROLLING A DOUBLE WIDE MOBILE HOW TO??

Post by fredagable » Tue Jul 01, 2008 3:51 pm

I AM IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING THIS MOBILE AND I NEED TO JAR MY MEMORY...
I HAVE A "U BEAM" WITH A STOP BOLT ON BOTH ENDS, AND "6 METAL ROLLERS" THAT ROLL ON THIS "U BEAM"...AM I CORRECT??

NOW I NEED TO REFRESH MY MEMORY AS TO "WHERE I PLACE THIS UNDER THE HOUSE" TO ROLL AND SEPARATE THE TWO UNITS.... I JUST CANNOT REMEMBER. I NEED TO ROLL IT ABOUT 6 FEET, AND ITS READY TO ROLL & MOVE.

DOES ANY ONE HAVE A PICTURE OR A DIAGRAM TO SHOW ME, WHAT I HAVE FORGOTTEN??
MANY THANKS.... FREDA

E-MAIL ME WITH INFO AND PICTURES TO: @ [email protected]

In my area rollers are not used..This can be a dangerous job, maybe you should hire a professional mover..

This is not a do it yourself job. You can injure or kill yourself if you make a mistake as well as do many thousands of dollars in damage to your home. No one can tell you the correct location for the rollers without inspecting the house. Even the location suggested by the factory may not be correct any longer. There are many factors that go in to determining the safest way to move the home.
