We live in central Arkansas and in the next year we are planning to buy a smaller single wide manufactured home. The problem We are running into is around here is they don't sale the homes that john has given high ratings in his book. Cavalier and Clayton are the highest rated homes we can find in the 16" by 56" or 60" size that we are interested in. Does anyone know if the warranty service on the Cavalier line is any better than it was several years ago? And is the Clayton Laredo line a good built line? The sunshine web site says they sell sunshine homes in Arkansas but I didn't get a answer to my email asking where the dealers for Sunshine homes are in Arkansas are located. We would be grateful for any information

As you know from the books, the most important decision is which dealer..By far most problems are caused by dealers not the manufacturer..Be sure you find the best dealer in the area. The best dealers will have the best homes. You might want to consider a very high quality small double, since small singles have lost their popularity many manufacturers no longer build them..
