cracks, Gusguard???

My 1999 Skyline double has been getting cracks for the past few years. The builder/contractor told me to just fill them in with joint putty, as the 1 year warranty had expired years ago. Today I did a search on Gusguard foundations, and talked with a local contractor who services them, and discovered I should have had some "leveling" done quite some time ago. This was not clearly explained to me many years ago by the company that I bought the property thru, had the excavating done by, ordered the home, and had everything else done by. I think I got led by the wayside by the folks who set up my home...

Please share open answers and experiences, as I already have started the repair process. I'm just curious how many others have had a similar situation, and how they dealt with it?

How were you miss lead????..Your owners manual would have made it clear that no company can be responsible for movement of the groud...Settling happens in just about every home..

We work with the Gusguard all the time? Is it the Tuf-1 on plastic pad or is it wet set cement or is it the cross bracing system? That will make a difference.
