I have a 1982 Golden West Home and desperately need to install new windows.
Home depot said they do not install windows in manufactured homes.
Where can I go and more import, how much should I pay for a standard window (Rancho Dominguez, Ca.?
The cost for Installing standard windows.
Re: The cost for Installing standard windows.
Since everything seems to cost a lot in CA, it is hard to give you any reliable cost estimate, but the parts store on this web site has windows available in most sizes. Prices seem to be from $50 to $100 per window..You would be able to get local labor quotes...In my area thermo pane window retro fit installers get about $300 per window installed..
The parts store can be found here:
MobileHomePartsStore.com
The bookstore here has "The Manual for Manufactured Home Repair & Upgrade".
It has a section on window upgrade..You might want to take on this project. You can find it here:

Re: The cost for Installing standard windows.
I used to deliver windows for HD installs, and delivered plenty to MH's. Unless they have recently changed their policy, someone does not know what they are talking about.
