Negotiate for a better price

My husband and I want to replace our way too small mobile home with a sectional home. We shopped around this weekend to get an idea of what we want. Is it possible to negotiate a better deal.......like car shopping? If so, estimating the home is around 60K what price would you 'offer'?

Also, what upgrades would we be better off doing ourselves rather than order thru the factory?
