intertherm central heat and air

our system is 8 years old, it has had a problem the last two springs and summers that the inside system frosts over and the unit wont blow air. we have to turn it off, thaw it out and then it works...all systems are working, filters changed even types of filters...what do we neet to do? help we are roasting

Sounds like your "A" coil is dirty or the fins have been bent...Have a professional A/C person inspect, check freon levels and clean with acid...Worse case is you will have to buy a new coil.....Good Luck
