I need help locating a lender that will refinance my Manufactured Home that is located on leased land. The area is a retirement community and the land is guaranteed renewable annually.

There are dozens of lenders who are happy to finance a MH without land... especially if you have reasonably good credit history. There are hundreds of land lease MHCommunities across the country and this is still the only way to finance homes on rented land. Most of these lenders will also finance just the home, on land that you own.

Submit the form that you will find on this page You'll be matched with lenders and brokers who meet your exact financing needs.

There is no minimum credit requirement to use this service. We have loan providers in our network experienced in working with a variety of consumer credit histories. Mortgages that cover home and land offer the lender greater security. So if you are financing just your manufactured home you should expect a higher interest rate than is being offered locally for real-estate mortgages. How much higher should depend on how good your credit history reads.

For your protection, you will not be asked for and should not provide account numbers, or personal information such as social security number or date of birth over the Internet.

refinancing with bad credit

Post by anne » Sat Jan 13, 2007 4:44 pm

Hi,
We have a singlewide home on 25 acres. We have to refinance as we have a balloon note due soon. Having problem finding a lender that will refinance with a low credit score. We do have equity in the property. Anyone have any ideas?
