Mobile home unit auctions

I would like to buy four to ten single and double wide units for rental investments. Several years ago I went to an auction in Johnson City, Tn where around fifty homes were auctioned at good prices. I have been unable to locate any wholesale auctions and would appreciate any information as to where I may locate one nearby. Thanks. Dale.

There are a couple used home liquidator companies that help support these forums....

Repossessed homes are thinning out and large auctions are fewer now than at times in the past...There are still times homes are sold on a bid basis in the field prior to the lenders spending more money to move the home to a sales location..This is where most used home dealers get their homes today...This link is to a company that does these kinds of sales...

Of course...you might want to consider buying new homes for this purpose..Any plant will help you with the proper license requirements...

The only other local source I can think of is local dealers...Most new home dealers get trades they do not want and welcome the chance to sell it in the field before the spend money moving it...This would take work building a network of contacts in your area...This is the most common place for used home dealers to get their inventory...
