Need replacement parts - what brand name is my home

Post by wldraven » Sat Aug 26, 2006 5:48 am

I have lived in a modular home for a year, well thats what the engineer said it was when I was purchasing it. Anyway, I have looked in closets and everywhere in the house with no luck...The plates on the sides of the house are not metal and have practically crumbled away...the house was built in 1993. 28 & 68 3 bedroom, 3 bath.... I did look at the county tax files online and they have it as a Commodore 1700 series... Would that be enough the get some schematics on the house??????? I have weird sized exterior doors and am considering having door frames resized to put regular doors in.

Commodore builts both HUD code, and modular homes. I would suspect the entry door is a 34 x 76, which includes the jambs. This is a standard size door for manufactured housing, and is readily available at any manufactured housing supply business, in varying windows and styles.
