Green Tree

Post by Amie » Fri May 19, 2006 7:51 am

We bought a repo home in 2003 in Texas. The company we bought it from bought it from Green Tree. We are now selling it and there is still a lien on it from Green Tree. It seems they should have released the lien when they sold it. We have been to the Green Tree office in San Antonio, to the Texas Department of Manufactured housing and to Bell Mobile Homes who were the ones who bought it from Green Tree. They all keep pointing us to each other. Now it seems it all leads to Green Tree. They will not do a lien release. Since they sold it they should have done the lien release then in 2003 as it was a cash deal. I do not know what to do. Please help.

We have our MH with Gree Tree. We have problems with them as well. I think this it a normal thing with them. Once they get you they do'n't care anymore.

yes, Green Tree is a challenge
I've been with them since 1995 in VA
THEY are constantly taking me to court and attaching the court fees to my loan.

Sounds like a dealer problem to me...You paid the dealer and he may not have paid Greentree...The Texas government should put the heat on him...Most states..selling a vehicle without a clear title is a felony...Good Luck..
