when we moved into the home were in now we noticed a problem. who ever put the skirting in screwed it up. when the wind blows it pushes the skirting out on one side and pushes it in on the other. i was wondering how to re-anchor the track and get it the way it supposed to be. because were constantly having to put it back the way it was. i need to know how to do it myself. thanks for listening. i hope you can help

The bottom rail should have long spike pounded into the ground...Also if the skirt is over 30" high there are metal wind rods that should be in the section joints..You can get these at any manufactured home supply store....I assume you have proper venting..If not this can cause huge problems...Be sure there are enough vent panels on the home..

If you can afford it you should replace your vinyl skirting with wood siding. Using T-1-11 (available at any Home Depot) you can match your exterior of your hame and cut vents (11\2 sq. ft per every 15 lin. ft) and you can save money compared to a concrete package, match the siding of your home and avoid blowing away

concrete skirting looks great we even had a sample sent because we were very interested in purchasing, however the warranty (if they install) is only for 1 year---warranty for one year??? Not putting out my hardearned money for a year warranty.
