floor strength?

i've been looking all over for info on how much weight can be supported by a modular home floor, but have not had any luck yet.

i want to build a large terrarium and started to draw up plans for it, but when it came to how much dirt it would hold i hit a snag which brings me to my question. can the floor of a 70x44ft double wide hold about 1500 to 2000 punds over about a 2.5x7 foot area?
the house was made in 1996, and plans were for the terrarium to be in a room at the end of the house, near the middle of the two sections.

forget about this topic. i don't think i'll have a problem with the tank anymore.

i looked under the house today and one of the main I-beams that runs the length of the house will be sitting directly below and parallel with the terrarium, pretty much smack in the middle underneith it. and looking at the concrete blocks, their will be some almost right at each end of where the tank is sitting. but might toss more under it towards where the center of the tank will be. the beam almost looks and sounds like its made of quarter inch aluminium.

First of all a 44X70 foot home is a triple-wide ( or is it 24X70 ) second dont assume the concrete blocks under the (steel) frame are strong enough to support it. They are formulated to support " normal " home use. Back in the 70's alot of people found this out with waterbeds. Go to a Manufactured Housing supply store and get a couple of steel piers ( you will need to measure from the ground to the bottom of the frame rail subtract 2 inches thats the size piers you need). Or call a home installer and pay him a couple hundred bucks to do it for you.
