Does anyone have anything positive/negative to say about Jacobsen home?

I don't own one but after looking at everything built in Florida I would say they are second to none. Long delivery though.

The reason for the long delivery time is that they are second to none!!

I own a Jacobsen Home in Island Lakes, a 55+ community in Merritt Island Florida. It has survived the record breaking 4 hurricanes from 2004 and Wilma from 2005 wholly intact. One reason I am selling it now is that my mom needs a smaller place. But I would heartily recommend a Jacobsen.

Make sure they actually sell and setup in your area! After weeks of investigating, when I was driving across Florida for the second time - I was told that they do not service my community! Double check your salesman. Mine told me "Yes" in the first visit across the state. Lots of time, gas, and energy wasted!
