I have heard that having a manufactured home on a permanent foundation is a better way to have your home hld an increase it's value...the question is, what is considered a permanent foundation?? we are considring putting an 2006 triple w/ a 24/35 garage on 1 1/2 acres ( that has a great view) and i am concerned with resale value. If your builder is any good they should know that permanent foundations must meet HUD/FHA standards. If they don't know, get another builder. You can also contact any structural engineering firm. They know all about them.
