Hello,
I am indeed in need of an expert. I have a 1989 Palm Harbor with an electrical dilema. I just returned from the summer up north and thankfully was spared from Wilma's wrath here in Naples Florida.

Unforunately though I have 2 electrical sockets and a ceiling fan that are not working and do not have any juice going to them. One female receptacle is in the bathroom the other is on the opposing wall of the lanai I switched all the circuit breakers off for a few minutes and that did not work. For some reason there are no resetable receptacles in the whole house. You know the ones that are usually in the bathrooms with the little red and black buttons to reset.

So my question is, are there by any chance 2 circuit breaker boxes and where might I look for a second one (main box is in the laundry room) or someplace else I can look for some kind of reset button to correct this problem. If I had an owners manual on this Palm Harbor I might be able to find something in the electical schematic. But I do not have one. If you can please help me at all I would really appreciate any thing that you can offer me. Please help.....................................

Sounds like you are on the right track....The bathroom IS on a ground fault breaker...the lanai is probably wired to the outlet..my guess is the fan is in the lanai????.....There will be a ground fault reset breaker somewhere probably in the main panel box...They will have a reset button...Of course you could be like thousands of others and call FEMA for an advance on repair money....Glad to hear the home did well.....Enjoy the winter.....

Hello and Thank You for your quick response Murray.. I have looked in the main box and unforunatly there is no reset button in there. Also, the fan is in the lanai as you said. Do you have any other suggestions as to where the ground circuit switch might be located ? There is a shed attached to the house. Could it possibly be somewhere in there ? It certainly is not out in the open because I have been looking everywhere..... Possibly behind something in there. And is there any other way for me to follow the wires or what ever it takes to figure this out.
Forget about trying to get an electrician out here for at least a year with all the damage out here. So,unforunately I have to figure this one out on my own...Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.........

Ground fault systems are often in the recepts themselves...Sometimes you will have to check each recept on circuit....Remember BOTH baths are on the same line...Maybe the other bath has the recept with the reset button...Wish I could help more.....If you are in a park..the manager might have someone available to help....

Hope you find it soon..Lanai's are no fun without a fan....

Dear Murray.........YOU ARE MY HERO................................... All you had to say was "remember BOTH baths are on the same line." I had a place to look and that was it........ It was in that other bathroom under my multiple socket adapter......There it was....right under that thing.and it was popped..........I hit the red button and wala .................................lights, fan everything.......
