I live in Houston Texas in Harris County. I am looking into purchasing my (soon to be) home from Clayton and I need to know who I need to get in touch with to find out whether I would need to only look at On-Frame or Off-Frame homes for my certain area and neighborhood. I was told to get in touch with the County Clerk, but the redirected me to the Tax Clerk. I looked at their website to see if I could get any information from there, but I didn't find anything. Help Please!!!

You will need to check with the building and zoning department...Your dealer should be able to help you get proper building information......Tell your sales person to get off their duff and earn their commissions....
