Dear Sirs,
I am writing mainly on the account of the recent CAT 5 Hurricane (Katrina). My insurance agent was here yesterday to evaluate the extent of damage to our Craftmade? Manufactured Home. After looking at the roof he asked me come up and look at it also. The OSB "wood roof" looks as though it has been rotting for years under the shingles. Not one shingle has been out of place prior to "Katrina."
This is a 1999 Home, and I curious to find out if there is some type of Statute of Limitations, whereas the Manufacturer would be liable in this case. I would like to think a roof should last longer than 6 years. I bought this home new and would appreciate any info you could supply. I have not been able to contact "Craftmade Homes" yet.
Thank you in advance,
Jack Alberts
