My '91 dblWd mobile home rattles when our clothes washer is in its spin cycle. The home sits on concrete piers that make contact with the steel beams that run along the length of the home - standard spacing. I've added six additional piers directly in contact with the 2x6" floor joists that run below the washer (unlike the rest of the piers, these are metal "jack stands" on top of 4" thick concrete pads), and a sheet of glued and screwed 3/4" plywood on top of the laundry room floor but that hasn't helped - in fact I get the distinct impression that I've only enhanced transmission of the vibrations to the rest of the structure by limiting the movement of those joists! (The washer repair tech said this was a common problem with new washers as they are now made to be lightweight, and have less ability to dampen vibrations like older, heavier models.)
Any advice appreciated!

You don't mention if your home is a double or single section home. If you live in a double and your marriage wall openings are not pier supported, this can cause a lot of vibration.
Also, is your home anchored?
Check the installation manual for these requirements, however, any opening in the marraige wall or side wall 4' or bigger should have piers at each end, and your home should have anchors spaced about 10' apart.

Is it level on all four "legs?" Try rocking the washer from side to side, front to back, and corners. If anything moves, it will for sure move when the washer spins. You'll find four adjustment nuts (one under each corner) to level it. You could also try sliding a thick piece of plywood under it, to isolate it.
