I have a 86 Patriot MH 14X60 (good condition). I am purchasing property, 5 Acres in WV. Is there any adavantage in placing the home on a permanent foundation verse standard tie down? I googled this question and found a mix response. Some stated that in some states the trailer becomes realestate at sucha point it is placed on a perment foundation? Is this true? If so... then it would seem to me for resale value, since realestate appreciates in value that it would make since to pay for the additional expense. Which leads me to the second question... is a block foundation the best method for a reasonable cost permanent foundation?
