storm doors

The door jamb between the inside door and the storm door in my home is wet and mouldy on the bottom near the threshold. this happens with both front and back doors. do I need to replace the door or could gutters help? Has anyone had this problem? It seems that the guys that i have had looking at it don't know why it's happening and have a problem with replacing the storm door because it's a "mobile home". The people here in RI have a backwards view of MHomes,they are intimidated by them!!! One guy said I would have to replace the whole unit-inside and outside door because they come in one piece with the jamb. Please help!! He is probably right..the asemblies are sold as a package....This would be sure to solve your problem..
