Okay, I'm going in tomorrow (since I forgot my checkbook today) to put my 10% down on a new Cavco house in order to start construction. I've got a price on what the house will cost going off list prices. Are these things like buying a new car where I can negotiate a lower price? Especially with my checkbook in hand ready to make a sale???

It is hard to get any flesability..when you make your plan clear..If they know you are there to buy rhey will not lower the price..ubkess they think yoiu are abiout to leave...Most dealers giving a complete price for you to carry around..probably gave you about as good as they can do...The only way to get trhe best price is to shop between two or more dealers on the exact same home..Good Luck

Repo mobile home pricing, How flexable are dealers selling Repo mobile homes. I am looking at a 2000 Model Oakwood single wide. Dealer is asking 17900 for the single wide.

Most often the repos belong to lenders and they set the price..but sometimes they will bend...If the home is big..16x80..The price seems fair in this market..
