Serial Number

I am looking to sell my mobile home (trailer) but do not know what it is . I know it is 14x64 and it is about 1984. The serial number is UL1 193913 Can anyone help me to find out how to get this info?

you do not have the serial number. What you have is the manufacturers certification label number (HUD label number(
Since the number starts with ULI.. that means the Underwrites Labs was the inspection agency for your home. Underwriters had one client, Skyline Homes, so you have a Skyline Home.
If you need to find the actual serial number, go to the front cross member on the chassis, where the hitch rails attach. Stamped in the front steel crossmenber is the serial number, take a wire brush and start brushung, you will see it.
or you can contact a contractor for HUD with the number you have, they can search it for you, but will charge a fee bucks

Hello Eugene,
I am buying a mobile home from a private person he says that the home was abandoned in his park and that he can give me paperwork stating that In am now the owner. Is this legal and how could I get a title? Thank you

I have a 1984 double wide 28 x 56 and the only number that can be found on it is TEX 162957. Could you help me with the manufacturer ?
