Well, we finally got the contract signed for our new triple wide 2800 sq ft home with all the options I wanted; so I thought. i got a call from the dealer 2 days ago that said there was a "little" problem. Redman (Champion) would not be able to install the a/c ducts in the ceiling. I have passed on other builders that said they could do it. Now my dealer is shocked I am so upset. In fact, if they can't do it (as already in the contract with builder), I don't want it. Any suggestions? As this goes on, I will explain more of how this straw broke the camels back. "Homes of America" in Apache Junction, Az is much to blame.

The dealer is the most important factor in the successful result with any manufactured home....more so with a triple section..this one seems new with this product..You have or are losing confidence in him...If so..move on....The dealer would have known about this when he had the factory order confirmation done..which you should have reviewed prior to final agreements..You should see the order confirmation soon if you continue..It will detail all features and colors...This form commits the plant to build it exactly as on the confirmation..
Have you seen the Monoco and or El President e.....at Palm Harbor..one is even bigger than this Redman...Check them out...

I had an order confirmation with this option from the manufacturer. They had already said they could do it. Now that we have a contract, they say oops, we can't.

I would suggest you talk to the Gneral Manager of the plant.....Ask what happened and ask how much compensation they will offer...

Redman home. We've looked at some and if they couldn't put the duct work in the ceiling/roof area, we didn't want it. That was a HUGE issue with us. Good for you, go somewhere else.
