Have a job offer to sell homes for a new dealer who has been a home builder for many years and is well known in the area.
I'm not new to selling these homes, have worked at another dealer before.
He just let go of another salesman, which I spoke with before he was let go, he said there just wasn't any traffic, there would be days he would sit there with not one person walking in the door.
So I gave it a try on a part-time basis, I sat there all day Saturday and Sunday, and not a soul walked in the door. I even posted a new sign to draw attention.
What would you experts suggest to be done to draw in traffic?

A salespersons job is to find prospects to bring to the store...
Prospecting is 1/2 of the job...

Questions to ask yourself...
- Do other MH dealers in the area have more traffic?
- Does this MH dealer operate in a growing area with a good economy?
- What kind of reputation does this MH dealer have?
- Will the dealer allow you to check their references with recent customers (closed 9 - 18 months ago?)
Even though interest rates are up slightly, the housing market is still at near-record activity levels nationwide. If this dealer doesn't have their fair share of local prospects to work with, then there could be problems that are more than skin deep.
