Rusted Roof

I've got an 89 Champion/Atlantic14X70 with a mostly rusted roof (a frame) A couple of years ago I started to
wire brush the loose rust and cold galvanize with spray
cans, it's a much bigger job now. What are my options?
Do it the way I started and use brush on cold galv. and then coat. Coat over the rust. or maybe plywood and
shingle...but wouldn't I have to raise the ply off of the metal with 2xs and create air flow, with soffit and peak vents. Any ideas?

You can find a full Roofover System at our on-line parts store. Everything you need to do the job is there . Look for the Original Peel & Seal Self-Stick Aluminum Roll Roofing - A Fast Application, Multi-Purpose Roofing and Waterproofing Sheet
Waterproof / Weatherproof
Sticks to most surfaces
Aluminum surface reflects heat - reduces energy costs
Low cost / Labor saving / Easy to install
Tough and durable - puncture and abrasion resistant
Stretches to allow for building movement
Requires no coating for exposure to sunlight
For roofing, waterproofing, patching & repair
Peel & Seal is a self-adhering waterproofing material with a reflective aluminum surface. The sheet features multiple laminations of special aluminum foil, high density polymer films and a thick layer of rubberized asphalt waterproofing compound. The aluminum foil reflects the sun to lower rooftop temperature and reduce energy costs. The films stabilize and reinforce the sheet and act as the first line of defense against leaks. The rubberized asphalt seals tightly at the overlaps and around most punctures, and forms a long-lasting waterproof barrier.

Forget the spray cans. Purchase fibered aluminum roof coating, at any manufactured home supply, or home center. The spread rate is one gallon per 100 square feet. Get two 5 gallon buckets. A couple of hours labor will solve the problem.

I still have to remove or neutralize the rust before
coating..................right?
