factory installation manual

Hello,
I just purchased a 1978 BENDIX double wide (56x24) and starting to put it back to gather. I am finding the inspector wants to see the "factory installation manual" Unfortunatly no manual was with the home. Is there a source for old manuals? Bendix is now longer making homes here in california that I know of.

This will be impossible....Your building inspector needs some lessons...Everry state has a generic set up code in the event thatr the manual is unavailable...Check with your building department or the state office dealing with manufactured homes...
