For a young married retired couple new to the area which is the better course of action in buying a new or used mobile home in an adult community. Am I better off buying in a resident owned community, ie., $10,000 a share or just renting? I am a little sceptical that a lot in an resident-owned community would be a problem should we ever decide to move on. One person told me not to buy a mobile home lot in Florida, that it's better to rent and get all the ammentities and so forth.
