I AM AN APPRAISER IN OHIO AND HAVE A HOME THAT I HAVE THE HUD PLATE NUMBERS FROM - IS THERE A WAY TO USE THESE NUMBERS TO FIND OUT THE MAKE, YEAR, MODEL, ETC. OF THIS HOME?

John,
This varies from mfr. to mfr. but the data 'plate" (actually a glued-on sheet) will be found, variously, on the wall in the utility room, on the inside of a cabinet in the utility room, or on the inside of the cabinet under the kitchen sink, and sometimes on the wall next to the home's main fuse box.

And after a few years, that sheet has probably fallen off (or been removed).
Just don't be suprised if you can't find it.
If the home is in insured, that information should be on the insurance paperwork.

A better way
Ok, you got the easy answers, here is the right answer,
every home has the serial number, model year and number stamped on the front cross member. It might be hard to see, but with a wire brush to remove paint and rust, you should find it, OR
Contact IBTS, they are HUD's contractor for label control, they can search their records and find the info you need.
