FEW consumers actually pay real attention to the energy star standards....They should..these homes are 38%more efficient than previous energy efficient models...MOST approved manufacturers offer Energy Star as an expensive option..Only PALM HARBOR bguilds all of its homes standard to these stsndards....Go here to search for ubuilders in your state...http://www.energystar.gov/index.cfm?fus ... &s_code=AZ

What Murray says is not true. Palm Harbor doesn't build all of their homes as Energy Star rated as a standard. Maybe at his location, but not all of their plants do. Also, you will have to upgrade to a 12 seer heat pump to get an actual "Energy Star" rated home. Of course all of the Palm Harbor sales people would like consumers to believe that they are standard this way but most of the Palm Harbor sales people will tell you what you want to hear no matter what the reality may be.
