The Manufactured Housing Forums

I am in an area where the housing cost are very high. I am looking at purchasing a double wide and putting it on a permanent foundation. The home will be placed on a 1.2 acre lot that I am planning on purchasing with the home.
What kind of appreciation can I expect, or will the home lose vaule beause its a mobile home? I only plan on living in the home for approx 2 years and do not want to loose when I have to sell.

If this is a new construction and you plan on only staying there for 2 years.I would say your gonna loose because of all the realstate fees.Could be wrong though, Im just guessing.
