My manufactured house arrived on my property today and we noticed that where the insulation is wrapped under the house was full of water. Should we make the factory replace the insulation or will it be okay? When he poked holes in the plastic, water poured out, not just a little either.

Since the home is new...and most liekly the insulation is blown cellulose...I would be having a long discussion with the dealer and manufacturer..If this home came from the dealer display..it will probably be his problem...

If the insulation is fibergalls...it will dry out without much problem...

Brenda,
Whenever insulation gets wet, it is ruined! Insulation relies on the air trapped inside the insulation, once it gets wet, it gets compressed and losses its insulation qualities.
Also, mold would be a big concern.
Be firm, tell the dealer and manufacturer to replace all the floor insulation, today!
