Attention Mobile Home Transporters:

I am a New Jersey Transporter welding additional axles under used mobile
homes. I am in need of other haulers for entire or partial runs from New
Jersey to the disaster area of Florida. It has been my experience when
converting a 3 axle home to 4 or 5 axles the difference is tremendous. This
benefits the home, due to less flex and of course the axles and tires. My
toter is currently being used to import 14' x 70's into my yard. These
homes are approximately 20 years of age, and I am very welcome to any
suggestions in an attempt to minimize damage due to the long haul. There
are many homeless people with insurance checks in hand, however, they need
our help to get back on their feet.
I am having difficulty securing haulers, so if anybody is interested
please e-mail me at [email protected]. Any input would be greatly
appreciated, and I hope to work with you in the near future. Try me
anytime on my cell at 732-267-3580 or evenings at 732-892-4520. This is a
great opportunity to make good pay and also help those in need.

Hope to hear from you soon,
Alan

*P.S.
Of course in every state there is a concern about the inspections by state
troopers, however, upon informing the police that these mobile homes are
going to the homeless, it is very possible they will disregard it.

You most likely will NOT be allowed to place these homes in Florida...they would have to be HUD Wind Zone 2 or Wind Zone 3 certified...I doubt many are in NJ...

FEMA sent faxes to all dealers in the SE last week asking for any avaiable to buy...but they did require the wind zone designation..

The odds are that you will be hauling back north any non hurricane zone homes that you make the mistake of hauling to Florida. State law will not permit you to sell any homes without a state dealers license and licensed dealers will not touch homes that are not built to the proper wind zone.

If you happen to bootleg a sale your customer will never get permits to set up your homes. There are hundreds of legal dealers in Florida filling the need for replacement homes. Don’t make the trip.

Hey, I have met you before. Don't do it. Like was mentioned they do not meet the Windzone down South. I worked for FEMA during the Sandy storm. They are very strict with the requirements of both the homes and the setups. 20 year old homes plus wrong windzone and not sealed for Florida, no good.
