permanant foundation

I would like to turn my house 180 degrees and move it aprox 20 feet, andset it on a block perm foundation. It is a double wide 24' by 60'. Any suggestions on doing this without separating the house?

Short of picking it up with a crane or via I-beams.. no, you'll need to hire crews to build the new foundation, seperate the halves, move it, set it back up on the new foundation, etc.

Either way, I'd expect you to spend over $5000 for the job..

Contact a local setup crew. Depending on the site, they may be able to track and roll it around with out separating halves. Moving it 20 feet is no problem, the 180 turn needs room and flat area. The permanent foundation is no problem if you do the footings first, then bend over the vertical steel that goes up into the stem wall and move your house over it. Then, after the house is leveled on new stands on the interior footings and all connections made under, use speed block to build the walls. You should have enough room between the top of the block and the rim joist to pump in concrete and set your foundation bolts. Bolt on the mudsill, fit in your solid blocking (leaving gaps to fit in foundation vents), then install your shear connection (plywood and/or Simpson plate anchors) according to your foundation plan.
