Tie-downs

We have a manufactured home set-up on blocks and needs the tie-downs installed. Is there an easier way to install tie-downs after the home is set up than running the concrete slabs underneath and having to tie down from there? We heard about a new way which involves bringing in the concrete blocks with the tie-downs already attached and installing underneath. ??????

There are many anchor systems available in the market now...some of which do not involve any in ground anchors in wind zone 1...Ask a few installers in your area for information...

Since your home is already installed, one of the easiest ways would be to use the OTI all steel foundation system. you can do this by replacing 2 piers with this system and no ground anchors are required. It is a good way to go, and many manufacturers approve it.
Too bad your dealer didn't install them, anchoring is required by the HUD code.

This is addressed in the Installation manual that came with the home.
