This may be a duplicate question but I am anxious to find out if the riverfront lot my husband and I love will hold a manufactured home. Right now it doesn't even have a driveway. There is a considerable slope to the water but 275 ft for work with. Right now it doesn't even have a driveway. Can it be excavated to put a manufactured home on it? We've heard they can put them about anywhere. Does anyone know any limitations on lots for manufactured homes? thanks

The foundation is built level, regarless of the slope after all they put homes on mountansides.
More importantly, are you _allowed_ to put a mobile home there. You need to find that out first before you do anything else, and get it in writing.

Please make sure as the site is graded that you provide for drainage away from the home on all 4 sides!
You may need to cut swales on the up hill side, keep the water a way to avoid problems.
The home site should be crowned higher than all surrounding ground.
