The Manufactured Housing Forums

Are certain brands of mobile homes any better than others? I've owned a Palm Harbor double in the past and it was wonderful, their salespeoples are liars & connivers to say the least (of course this is my opinion), but the home itself was great. We are looking for a quality single now. I recently looked at a Skyline and it seemed to be very nice. It is a 1998. 6 inch walls, with vinyl siding and a shingled roof. CA with a heat pump.
Just trying to get some opinions here:)

Actually, both Skyline and Palm Harbor are good brands. But any retailer can be bad, so do your home work on the dealer!
