I am a Mortgage Broker and one of my Realtors has a home that was placed on land in 1978. It is an estate so info on this property is limited. It is on a permanent brick foundation and is a doublewide. She can not find a HUD tag or anything about a manufacture's name. I am struggling to find financing for her buyers. Any suggestions?

Try Northpointe Bank. They lend on weird homes, more concerned with the borrower.

Great suggestion for Northpointe Bank, however they lend in only a limited amount of states (IN, MI) and no contact information was provided, so for those in Indiana and Michigan their number is: 616-940-9400 or Toll Free: 1-888-672-5626.

If you are looking for comprehsive mortgage financing, whether it be manufactured housing or not, please feel free to contact me at your convenience.

** the year 2004 brought significant changes to the "loan to value" of manufactured housing and removed many of the "limited documentation" types (ie. stated, no income verification, etc). Financing at this time, due to non-peformance of these loan types, is limited.
