I thought I would add my comment about the book, “How to Buy a Manufactured Home and Save Thousands”.

I was really skeptical about purchasing the book, having read many posts recommending the book I decided I would spend the money and get the on-line format.

Was I ever amazed.Experience with such purchases in the past, the only one usually gaining anything is the one selling the book; not true in the case, it is actually is worth the 40.00!

What to look for in a quality construction is very helpful as is the section on choosing the right foundation, it confirmed my speculation on what causes most of the problems in friends homes.

Okay, I guess bottom line is.. if you are thinking about purchasing this book, I think you will be very happy with the information within the chapters. There are manufacturer’s that are worth considering that aren’t listed, and some that are listed should not be taken at face value. The book will give you the information on what to look for, a great basis making your own conclusion as to if the home you are looking at is the quality you are expecting.
