Hi! I'm 'translating' something from British English to American English. What does a mobile home (the old-fashioned kind - like a trailer) stand on? In Britain it is called a 'hardstanding'. What is it called in the US please? Thanks!

thanks Danny! The thing I'm talking about is a sort of poured concrete slab. Does that have a name?

if it's a flat 'slab" , then it's called a "slab".....if you hve ech individual concrete slabs, these are called "footings"....if their built-up concrete like walls , these re called cast "runners"
