carpeting

The few homes I have looked at on dealer Lots have been put together and have furniture in them. All had the seam down the middle of the home where the marriage walls are. My question is there any way to do away with this seam. Wold it be appropiate to have the carpet installed on site after the home is completly assembled.
Thanks,
David

On a permanent set..the dealer will have a professional carpet installer finish the seam...this will look just as good as any seam in carpet in any house...Few dealers actually seam the carpet on the display model...once properly seamed..it is not possible to move the home without ruining the carpet..
Some manufacturers ship the carpet loose and install it after the home is set..check with your dealer to see if any they sell deliver this way...Most high quality homes with taped and painted walls will ship with loose carpet..
