I wanted to ask are there any special windows for a mobile home? My is 1993 Fairmont double wide. We are looking for buying and replacing our windows. What do you suggest?

If you have aluminum vertical sliders, the upgrade, would be to install vinyl insulated windows. The vinyl insulated window provides a similar R factor to what is provided by both the prime and the storm window. The vinyl windows are made by the same companies that made the aluminum, and are manufactured to the same size, making the installation painless. They are readily available from a manufactured housing supplier.
